Bubbler Semilla Xical
A water bubbler inspired by germinating seeds, reflecting early plant growth.
Handcrafted in Mexico for Macusi Pipes, it is made from high-quality ceramic for smooth filtration and easy cleaning.
Each piece takes about 15 hours to make, including 1–2 hours of hand painting and three ceramic firings. The Xical collection was brought to life by Cerámica Orozco, a workshop with over 40 years of experience and international recognition. Women artisans from Estado de México, part of Cerámica Orozco, paint each piece by hand.
The Xical collection draws from Middle Eastern, Japanese, European, and Mexican influences. “Xical” refers to traditional Xicalcoliuhqui designs, featuring stepped frets, geometric patterns, and interlocking motifs. Each bubbler is made with lead-free ceramic and food-grade glazes.
The collection was designed by German Flores, an award-winning industrial designer specializing in ceramics.

How to Clean Your Semilla Bubbler
- Rinse with hot water to loosen residue.
- Soak in isopropyl alcohol and coarse sea salt for a deep clean.
- Scrub gently with a soft brush to reach tricky spots.
- Let it soak for 30+ minutes—longer for tough buildup.
- Rinse again with hot water to remove all residue.
- Air dry completely on a clean towel before using again.
Ceramic is vitrified like glass, so you can clean it the same way. Most glass-safe cleaners work just fine.
Adding Water
- Add about 3–5 oz (90–150 ml) of water—just enough to hear a soft bubble without splashing into the mouthpiece.
Tip: Clean your bubbler after each use to preserve flavor, reduce buildup, and keep every session mindful and fresh.
